Description

Luke Hinkle is currently a Consultant at Complex2Simple, Inc. Previously, he has worked as a Technology Manager and Product Marketing Director for MKS Instruments, Inc. He received a B.S. in physics from Elmhurst College in 1984 and a Ph.D. in physics from Pennsylvania State University in 1989. In addition to general vacuum technology and process control, specific areas of research have included vacuum gauging, gas-flow measurement and control, contamination control, process pressure measurement and control, and calibration standards and techniques for pressure and flow. Other activities and responsibilities at MKS included the development and management of technology roadmaps, the invention and patent program, and technology workshops. He has authored 15 technical publications and holds five patents.
