Join us for the AVS Michigan Chapter Symposium 2026. This all-day event is scheduled for June 11, 2026 at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.

The AVS Michigan Chapter’s 2026 Spring Symposium will showcase cutting-edge research in vacuum science, with a special focus on coherent dynamics in physical systems. Speakers will highlight how investigating these dynamics relies on vacuum-enabled tools and techniques, and how deeper understanding will accelerate progress in the emerging field of quantum devices and systems.

The AVS Michigan Chapter Spring Symposium brings together local universities and industry, academics, researchers, students, and industry sponsors. The Symposium will consist of one plenary and seven invited talks. There will also be around two hours of vendor exhibition time, student poster viewing, a reception, and a poster award ceremony.
