Advanced Surface Engineering Division - Rising Star Award
The Advanced Surface Engineering Division welcomes student(s) to apply for this year’s Rising Star Award. Candidates for the award must be registered to give an oral or poster presentation at the AVS International Symposium and be either a current student or have received their degree in the year of the Symposium. For the competition, the top finalists will be selected from this year’s applicants. The competition is a great way to connect with the ASED and get to know some of its members.
All students presenting at the ASED Symposium will automatically be considered for the Rising Star Award. If you have any questions or concerns during the application process, please reach out to the ASED Chair Diana Berman at
