AVS Michigan Chapter Welcome Banquet 2022 | Thursday, September 8, 2022 (4-9PM)
On behalf of the American Vacuum Society (AVS) Michigan Chapter, we are honored to invite you to attend the AVS Michigan Chapter Banquet to celebrate the chapter's re-launch.
The AVS Michigan Chapter focuses on three areas:
1) quantum science
2) thin films and plasma science
3) vacuum, power, and space electronics
With this banquet, our goal is to re-introduce our chapter and the focus areas to the broader science and engineering community in Michigan and provide networking opportunities. Therefore, your attendance and participation is invaluable and will help facilitate and develop the Chapter for years to come.
We are expecting around 60 people from various fields to attend the banquet including a large body of students. We will have three invited talks representing the three focus areas listed above.
Please
register in advance for this event and thank you for your interest, and we very much look forward to meeting you in September.
