DESCRIPTION:\nThe 33rd Annual Symposium of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the American Vacuum Society (PNWAVS) will be held in conjunction with the 40th Symposium on Applied Surface Analysis on September 14-16, 2022 at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), located in Richland, Washington. The Applied Surface Science Division (ASSD) of the AVS sponsors a biannual topical conference to discuss advances in applied surface analysis. PNWAVS hosts an annual symposium that brings together researchers with interests in vacuum science and technology in the Pacific Northwest region.\n\nA goal of this meeting is to promote interaction among all participants from industry, government, and university laboratories. Both invited and contributed papers in the form of oral and poster presentations will be presented at the meeting.
