DESCRIPTION:This meeting will be comprised of a series of invited talks on the theme “Quantum Science” followed by a poster session and an informal networking event.\n\nAbstracts are now being solicited for oral and poster presentations on topics of interest within AVS: surfaces, films, materials, interfaces, vacuum techniques, electronic properties, photovoltaics, nanofabrication, energy storage, etc.\n\nThese local chapter meetings are also an ideal setting for students and early career researchers and professionals to present their research. Student participation is strongly encouraged.  Established professionals are also welcome to submit abstracts, which could include recent studies, or provide overviews of topics of general scientific interest to the Society and chapter members.\n\nRegistration for the meeting is free and will start at 4.00 PM.  Pizza, soda, and water will be provided at about 6:30 pm.
